A huge THANK-YOU to everyone who has come to the café over the last year
and has made our project a resounding success.
And here we are in London: the Trustees along with representatives of National Grid, and the National Lottery Community Fund (who gave us the grants) and M4 Van Centre, Swindon, who provided the minibus, and the “absolutely fabulous” Dame Joanna Lumley, our President and Patron Suzy Aitchison, the late Dame June Whitfield’s daughter. Our charity supports residents in the BS26 area, so if you wish us to take a group of you on a leisure or social outing, please contact us on 07881 630629 (Phil Davies) or email info@frankiehowerdobetrust.org Please let us have your ideas on how we can best make use of this wonderful facility for the community – thanks!

We've done it! Thanks to generous grants from National Grid and the National Lottery "Awards for All" scheme, we have been able to purchase our minibus. We hope to have it ready and insured in the next few months to ferry residents to and from the Hub and café and to take them to other social, medical or recreational venues. We are also hoping to create a pool of drivers. If you passed your driving test before 1997, you should have the D1 entitlement which allows you to drive a minibus until the age of 70. From April, we are also looking for volunteers who can give up a couple of hours a week to help out in the café, otherwise we may not be able to stay open every day. If you are interested in driving the minibus and/or helping out in the café, please contact Phil Davies (minibus) on 07881 630629 or Kieran (café) on 07384 561369. Thank you!

Welcome to our Community Hub and Cafe which is run by the Frankie Howerd OBE Trust, registered charity number 1188630.
We are situated in Loxton, near Axbridge and Cheddar in lovely Somerset and look forward to meeting you.
All profits made from the cafe are put into the Trust. Our project to purchase a minibus has been successful so we are now seeking funding for our activities' centre.
